Licensing and Use Policies

Coven’s Crypt Licensing Agreement

This agreement outlines how you (the Licensee) may legally use the digital files — including seamless designs and sewing patterns — created and sold by Coven’s Crypt through www.covenscrypt.com and other authorized platforms. By downloading, purchasing, or using these files, you agree to the following terms.

🔮 1. ACCEPTABLE USES

Personal Use

You may:

  • Use files for personal projects (crafting, sewing, digital art, etc.).

  • Print or sew items for yourself or as gifts.

  • Make small modifications for your personal creations.

You may not:

  • Share, trade, or resell any part of the digital file.

  • Claim the design or pattern as your own.

  • Upload the file to any AI generator, print-on-demand platform, or third-party service.

Small Commercial Use

You may:

  • Use the file to create unlimited handmade products for sale (e.g., sewn apparel, crafted goods, or physical decor).

  • Incorporate the file into flattened physical/digital items (like stickers, stationery, or backgrounds).

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the original file (in any format).

  • Upload files to print-on-demand sites (e.g., Redbubble, Spoonflower, Zazzle).

  • Use for mass manufacturing, wholesale, or large-scale digital sales.

Fabric Shop Use

As a fabric retailer you may:

  • Print (or have printed for you) 100 yards (OR) 100 18” rolls of vinyl across any and all seamless files purchased. If you require more than the 100 yards (OR) 100 18” rolls of vinyl, or if you purchase multiple seamless files, please purchase the Fabric Shop License.

You may not:

  • Share, trade, or resell any part of the digital file.

  • Claim the design or pattern as your own.

  • Upload the file to any AI generator, print-on-demand platform, or third-party service.

Overseas Manufacturing

Overseas Manufacturing is only acceptable under the following terms:

  • Extended licensing must be purchased.
  • Should you provide the name and contact information of your overseas manufacturer you are eligible to purchase the lifetime license, which will cover any and all seamless files purchased for the lifetime of the purchaser. 
  • If you are unwilling to provide name a contact information for your overseas manufacturer, you must purchase a yearly license which will cover one single file, for the time period of one year (365 days).

🧷 2. SEWING PATTERN SPECIFICS

Coven’s Crypt sewing patterns are protected works and may not be:

  • Sold or redistributed (digitally or printed).

  • Used to teach workshops, classes, or tutorials without explicit permission.

  • Copied and repackaged as “altered” or “inspired” patterns for resale.

🕸️ 3. COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP

All files remain the exclusive property of Coven’s Crypt. You’re purchasing a license to use, not the rights to the artwork or pattern. Copyright is not transferred.

🧨 4. NO REFUNDS ON DIGITAL GOODS

All digital items are final sale. If you encounter issues with your download or the file itself, please reach out — we’ll make it right if something’s wrong.

🕯️ 5. VIOLATIONS & LEGAL ENFORCEMENT

We reserve the right to revoke your license if the terms are violated. Unauthorized use may result in a DMCA takedown, license termination, or legal action.
